Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Egyptian cotton so great?
Short answer: a lot of things! Egyptian cotton is the softest and most durable variety of cotton on the planet, due to its extra long staple length. Its also the only variety of cotton still harvested by hand, allowing it to maintain its fine structure. Read more.
What is a sateen weave?
Sateen is a term used to describe a special weaving technique where threads are woven in a 3-over-1 pattern. This gives the bedsheets a beautiful smooth and silky finish.
What type of enclosure does your duvet cover feature?
Our duvet covers are designed in Portugal, and feature zipper enclosures.
What is the thread count of these sheets?
In order to give you the most comfortable experience possible, we keep our Egyptian Cotton bed sheets at a thread count of 300. We find this is the optimal thread count for cozy, breathable sheets. Please keep in mind that thread count is not necessarily an indicator of quality, and the variety of cotton used is much more important in determining the quality of a bed sheet. This is why we strictly use certified Egyptian Cotton, which is the softest, most durable cotton available.
