Twin (aka Single)
Great for children, bunk beds, or single sleepers in small spaces (i.e. studio apartments).
Not so great for taller individuals, couples, anyone who likes to spread out when they sleep.
Great for dorm rooms, or single sleepers in small spaces given its extra length for taller teenagers and young adults. Also commonly used for adjustable beds.
Not so great for couples, anyone who moves around or likes to spread out when they sleep.
Full (aka Double)
Great for older children who are outgrowing their twin bed, young adults, guest rooms, or two sleepers who enjoy cuddling.
Not so great for taller individuals, two sleepers where one or both move around or like to spread out when they sleep, couples who wish to sleep with their pets.
Great for single sleepers who enjoy moving around, spreading out, or sleeping with a pet, two sleepers who can each move around comfortably.
Not so great for smaller master bedrooms, two sleepers where both individuals like to spread out when they sleep or wish to sleep with their pets.
Great for two sleepers who enjoy maximum amount of sleeping space, couples who enjoy sleeping with large pets or children, larger master bedrooms.
